Currently (May 2016)...

Long time no talk y'all! I made it a goal for myself to blog at least two times a week in May and I only managed to hit publish twice the entire month. Ufffda. I haven't even been commenting lately and I've missed so much and that makes my heart sad. June is going to be better, I just know it. After a day full of rain (and a rainfall warning) I woke up on the first of June to sunshine so that's got to be a sign that it's going to be a good month, right?

I had great intentions for at least getting my May Currently post published in May but that never happened. I may be a day late but at least I'm posting!

Reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. That's right, my annual Harry Potter series Summer re-read has officially commenced (I'm early for something for once!). I completely skipped over my huge reading pile to get started on it. Really though, I just wanted something lighter to throw in my bag for the train ride to Minneapolis and the first HP book was the smallest one on my shelf so it won out over everything else.

Listening to The Highway on XM or different country music playlists on Spotify. Right now I'm loving H.O.L.Y by Florida Georgia Line (and I am so not a FGL fan) and Unlove You by Jennifer Nettles. I just love her voice! I'm also loving Justin Timberlakes new song - he can do no wrong.

Celebrating birthday's all month long. 7 of my favourite people all had birthdays in May!

Watching baseball, baseball, and more baseball. It's the only tv I tune in to. I'm also itching to get to Texas so I can watch it live again!

Drinking coffee, water, and beer. Oh, did I miss beer while I was Whole30ing. I made up for going 30 days without any drinking while I was in Minneapolis for 4 days, drinking from 8 am until at least 2 am most days. I was on vacation, it's allowed! Before I left for Minneapolis I was also doing the 21 Day Fix and drinking Shakeology each day (I'm starting back at it again on Monday) and I actually don't mind the shakes. I thought for sure I would hate them but the only thing I hate is the price tag (yikes!)

Waiting to get together with my siblings to finalize plans for Texas. Just thinking about it makes my heart so happy. I can't wait for some Tex-Mex y'all. I've been dreaming about it daily for the last two years.

Loving life. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted with going down to only two Sundays at work at my part time job and my mini vacay to the Twin Cities helped me de-stress so  much. I just feel like June is going to be a great month. This weekend is my first weekend off that I'm at home for the first time since September. September!!

Working on my Summer Bucket List. I have so many plans for this Summer, I can't wait for them to all happen! I realized the other day that this is the first Summer in years that I'm not in a wedding, or attending a wedding, or even attending any wedding related events. All my weekends are free and that never happens! Stay tuned for my list! I also realized the other day, on my dad's birthday, that I had exactly two months to start crossing things off my 29 Before 29 list. So far I've only crossed off two... yikes...

Wearing Blue Jays gear whenever I get a chance. I may have a problem...

Anticipating Summer. I just love it and everything it entails. If it weren't for always wanting a white Christmas I'd wish it could be Summer all year round

Making plans for another visit to Minneapolis and possible a visit out to BC (in addition to my Texas trip). It's going to be such a fun Summer!

I have a list a mile long with post ideas for June - there's so much to catch y'all up on! So fingers and toes crossed that June is good to me and I can get back into a regular blogging schedule - I really do miss it!
